And He said to them, "These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all have to be filled that were written in the Torah of Mosheh and the Neḇi'im and the Tehillim concerning Me."
Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,
and said to them, "Thus it has been written, and so it was necessary for ha'Mashiaḥ to suffer and to rise again from the dead the third day,
and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His Name to all nations, beginning at Yerushalayim.
"And you are witnesses of these.
"And see, I am sending the Promise of My Father upon you, but you are to remain in the city of Yerushalayim until you are clothed with power from on high."
And He led them out as far as Bĕyth Anyah, and lifting up His hands He baraḵ them.
And it came to be, while He baraḵ them, that He was parted from them and was taken up into the shamayim.
And they, having bowed down to Him, returned to Yerushalayim with great joy,
and were continually in the Miqdash praising and beraḵah Elohim. Amĕn.
