Hannukah - John 9:1-7

John 9:1-7; 10:22-39

1  And passing by, He saw a man, blind from birth.

2  And His talmidim asked Him, saying, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he should be born blind?"

3  יהושע answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of Elohim might be made manifest in him.

4  "It is necessary for Me to work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day - night is coming, when no one is able to work.

5  "While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."

6  Having said this, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva, and applied the clay to the eyes of the blind man.

7  And He said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Shiloaḥ" (which translated is Sent). So he went and washed, and came seeing.
