Christmas:
The breast milk of the denominational churches.
Christmas is for the kids - how often have you heard that said? You know, when a child is born, he or she is nurtured by the mother's milk (unless there is a medical or other reason not to)for a few weeks or even months until the time is ready for them to be weaned on to more solid foods.
Fine, at Christmas, the masses gather in their local churches to listen to the Christmas message, great, but what happens next? The Pastor, Rector, Vicar, probably won't see those people again until they want their child christened, they want to get married or there's a death in the family.
What's my point? It is this, Church - it's about time you weaned your regulars onto the solid food of the Christian faith, or should I say Messianic faith. Yahushua is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, OK, so you may lose a few people from the congregation, which equals a few ££££££'s or $$$$$$' s income, but at least you won't lose your appointment for your place in the heavenly kingdom!!

The TRUTH (but who's telling it?)
On Day 2 (Monday) my scheduled reading from the Holy Book was from Romans ch1: vv1-17, however, I didn't stop there, I read verse 18, too. In my version, it reads:-

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness of those who by their wickedness suppress the TRUTH."

This morning Day 5 (Thursday) in Charles Spurgeon's "Morning and Evening" words from that same verse were quoted.

As teachers of The Word, it is imperative that we do not suppress the TRUTH in our own unrighteousness, we have to be right with God, or suffer the consequences, it is true that we are saved by God's grace, but, if we know the TRUTH, we should not be holding back from teaching the TRUTH.

The holiday period, the world calls Christmas is fast approaching, if you are a Pastor, a teacher of the Word, then now is a good time to tell the TRUTH about Y'shua, the real Jesus from the Bible. Almighty God will be with you when you do. If you are more afraid of your congregation than you are of God, or more worried about what people might say, then dear friend, I would question your calling. We were called to be bold. Be bold for Christ and take His message forward. Return to God, listen to what He is saying, a verse just came to mind, I believe comes from Matthew, "Blessed rather are those who hear the Word of God, and obey it."

Brother, Sister - Be Blessed!!
